Hi! My name is Maggie and I'm the President of Her Campus at UCSC. I’m originally from Redondo Beach, but I love Santa Cruz. I love living close to the beach and amongst the Santa Cruz wildlife.
At UCSC, I'm majoring in Legal Studies and Feminist Studies, and I compete in an ethics debate team through the school. In the future, I hope to become an attorney who works with a nonprofit to advance justice for women and girls.
In my free time, I love any and all outdoor activities, especially camping. I also love to read. Recently, I’ve been loving fiction that centers complicated and imperfect female characters. But, I’ll read almost anything, the process of reading is my perfect calming activity.
Sammy and I decided to reactivate the UCSC Her Campus chapter this year. We are hoping to provide a space for our community to write about their experiences, and read from their peers. I’m looking forward to see how the UCSC Her Campus chapter grows this year!
