I am a dedicated and motivated (freshman) student with a strong interest in both academic growth and creative expression. Currently, I am pursuing a pre-medical track with a long term goal of working in the field or cardiology or gynecology. My academic background reflects a strong commitment to challenging coursework and continuous growth, both in the sciences and the humanities. Through my education, I have developed critical thinking, discipline, and effective study habits that support my interest in medicine and patient focused care.
Prior to college, I gained valuable experience in communication and writing through a high school news class, where I studied journalism fundamentals and media ethics. In this class, I researched topics, conducted interviews, and wrote articles for publication, strengthening my ability to communicate information clearly and responsibly. These skills continue to support my academic work in pre-med studies and will be essential in future research and clinics.
In addition to academics, I am actively involved on campus as a member of Chi Omega fraternity, where I participate in smaller leadership development, philanthropy, and community service initiatives. Being part of a sorority has allowed me to build strong relationships, develop organizational and teamwork skills, and give back to the community. Through Chi Omega, I have gained experience balancing academic responsibilities with involvement and service, further stretching my time management and leadership skills.
Outside of my academic and campus involvement, I enjoy cooking and baking, writing short stories, and exploring creative outlets like mixed-media. Exploring different cultures, backgrounds and perspectives in absolutely so interesting to me, I find learning different people gives me a different perspective of life. I'm also super connected to athletics through my background in competitive volleyball, which shaped my work ethic and resilience. As I continue my education, I'm eager to learn more about campus life, organizations, and also grow more in my pre-med studies!
