Madison Sanchez

My name is Maddy, and I’m a product design student living in New York City. I grew up in Florida, and moving to NYC has completely shifted my perspective on creativity, community, and the impact good design can have on everyday life. Studying product design has given me the chance to explore how people interact with the objects around them, and I love diving into projects that balance aesthetics with real functionality. Being in such a fast-paced and visually rich city constantly pushes me to experiment, refine my ideas, and stay curious about the world around me.
My personal interests naturally influence my work and the way I see things. I’m passionate about beauty and skincare but not just the products themselves, but the design, texture, branding, and user experience behind them. I’m always paying attention to how things feel, how they look, and how they fit into people’s routines, and I take a lot of inspiration from those details. I also love traveling, and I find that new environments always spark fresh ideas, color palettes, or concepts that eventually find their way into my projects.
When I’m not working on school assignments, you can usually find me exploring art museums, cooking something new, or collecting little moments that inspire me. Cooking is one of my favorite creative outlets outside of design. Through all of my interests and experiences, I’m always looking for ways to grow, create intentionally, and tell stories through the things I make and the life I live.
