Hi! My name is Madeline Potvin, and I'm a junior majoring in Communications. I actually started out as a Public Relations major before deciding to switch, which gave me a foundation in media strategy, branding, and audience engagement that I still carry with me. I've always been passionate about the way people connect through storytelling, and I'm excited to keep building my skills in writing, public speaking, and digital communication. Over the past few years, I've also gained experience working in retail and hospitality, which taught me how much I enjoy connecting with people and creating meaningful experiences.
Outside of school, I've had the chance to work as a preschool teacher for 5 years, which was once of the most rewarding experiences I've ever had. I loved planning activities, encouraging kids' creativity, and making learning fun. That role really helped me develop patience, adaptability, and organization skills, which are all qualities I use daily in my academic and personal life.
In my free time, I love fashion and personal style, whether it's curating outfits, scrolling Pinterest for inspiration, or finding unique pieces to add to my closet. I also enjoy writing, spending time outdoors, and making the most of both New England summers and the Florida sunshine during the school year.
