Lola Brennan is a fourth-year student at the University of Florida, pursuing dual degrees in Psychology (Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience) and Criminology, with a minor in Anthropology. Her academic interests center around the intersection of psychology and the criminal legal system, particularly competency to stand trial and fitness for duty evaluations. Outside of the classroom, she is heavily involved in research and clinical work, and hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology after graduation.
While much of Lola's writing throughout college has revolved around research papers, academic blogs, and all things forensic psychology, she joined Her Campus to rediscover why she fell in love with writing in the first place. She especially loves writing about the small, unserious parts of being in your twenties that somehow end up meaning the most.
When she isn't studying, working, or convincing herself that she'll definitely start studying for an exam earlier next time, Lola loves trying new iced lattes, playing LinkedIn games, and adding to the stack of books she can never seem to finish. She loves animal print, new friendships, long conversations, and writing.
