Liz Hernandez Ramirez is a first-year chapter member at Her Campus at the University of Virginia chapter. She writes about the lifestyle, identity, Latinidad, politics, and advocates for environmental justice and women’s rights.
Beyond Her Campus, Liz is a Zero Waste Ambassador, a composting team at UVA’s Sustainability office. She is currently participating in the Karsh Institute's Civic Cornerstone Fellowship, a program that allows for civic dialogue. She is also involved in multicultural organizations such as PMP and CAFE. She is a second-year student at the University of Virginia, where she is exploring her interest in Public Policy, Global Sustainability, and Environment.
In her free time, Liz loves to go on walks, listen to her oddly specific playlists, and watch Dress to Impress YouTube videos. She scrolls on Pinterest far too much and is always thinking of what to write next.
