My name is Lindsay MacDonald and I am a junior English major at The College of New Jersey! I was born and raised in New Jersey; I graduated from Glen Rock High School in 2023 and could not wait to start taking courses more focused on my interests and career path. Being at a smaller institution allows students to really make a statement or a difference with themselves and the mark they choose to make. I am currently looking for an internship for the summer of 2026 and want to expand my experience. This is why I am eager to become a member of Her Campus!
Her Campus speaks to me because I aspire to become involved with the journalism, editorial, and publishing world, and getting connected with other college students can be an amazing part of the process. All of us are going through the same ups and downs, have similar interests and goals, and have the power to uplift each other while learning about our peers. As soon as I stumbled upon Her Campus I knew I wanted to be a part of it!
As for my personal interests, I love to read (my current favorite book is Kindred by Octavia Butler), play tennis, do digital and physical art, spend time with my dogs, browse and edit social media posts, and spend time with my friends. I would love for Her Campus to be added to this list as well!
