Lily Mattar is a first-year Carleton University student, currently pursuing a Combined Honours in Humanities and Philosophy with a minor in Law. She loves reading any form of literature and analyzing it to no end. She enjoys writing random stories, that may or may not turn into something bigger, and delving into the current issues happening around the world.
Her passions range from going down academic rabbit holes after stumbling upon a new theory online to reading about some fantasy universe and getting lost in her imagination. Lily's curiosity is endless when it comes to topics of feminism, internalized world issues, the universe, ancient world and religion, and pretty much any otherworldly niche theories one can think of.
Lily has been active in her academics all throughout high school, having been in several plays and musicals growing up and participating in several arts related clubs. Outside her part-time job and school, she spends her free time catching up on film series while cuddling up with her cat or bantering with her best friends.
