Leyla Carrasquillo is a first-generation college student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Advertising, with a minor in Spanish, at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Passionate about storytelling and blending creativity with strategic communication, she aims to build a career in Public Relations, focusing on the arts and entertainment industry. Her involvement in UCF’s Quotes Ad/PR club and affiliate membership with the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) has provided her with valuable industry insights, hands-on experience, and a strong professional network. Leyla’s certifications in Project Management, Social Marketing, and UX Design further demonstrate her dedication to staying current in an evolving field.

In addition to her academic achievements, Leyla has a diverse professional background in accounting and finance, having worked with CPA firms in Florida and Georgia. Her experience managing intricate data and meeting tight deadlines has strengthened her analytical and organizational skills, which she now applies to Public Relations in areas such as budget management and campaign financing. This unique combination of creative and analytical expertise allows her to approach communications strategies with precision while maintaining a focus on impactful storytelling.

Following her undergraduate studies, Leyla plans to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration to deepen her knowledge of business strategy and financial planning.
