Leah Talkington

Hello! I’m Leah Talkington, and I’m entering my second semester at Penn State. While I’m still undecided on my major, I have decided to put my primary focus on management and accounting and possibly minor in International Business. I’m from just outside Gettysburg, PA, and I come from a very loud and lively family. As the second of four siblings, I have an older brother, a younger brother, and a younger sister.

I learned about Her Campus at the Involvement Fair and have been following it since then—it really fascinated me! At Penn State, I’m excited to become involved in areas like marketing and social media.

Penn State football is also a big part of my life! The electric fan environment at Beaver Stadium was one of the main reasons I fell in love with Penn State. Outside of sports, I’m a pop-culture enthusiast, always keeping up with the latest news and enjoying conversations with friends about the hottest topics. Another hobby of mine is video editing. I enjoy making vlogs and videos for me and my friends to reflect on as we grow up, and I’m proud to be the “digital camera friend” in my circle.

I think it is important for me to put to the test my creativity, passion, and enthusiasm, which is why I would love Her Campus at Penn State!
