Laila Hutchison is a freshman at Saint Louis University who is extremely excited to be studying Occupational Therapy. She is drawn to writing about navigating the world as a woman due to wanting to help others feel seen, valued, and supported. When she isn't writing, she enjoys playing tennis, traveling the world, and participating in theatre. She is also ecstatic for college and all the memories, friendships, and knowledge that it will bring. She hopes her writing leaves readers feeling confident, loved, and motivated to be their purest self.
As an emerging writer and lover of the arts, she has been spotlighted as a playwright for local St. Louis productions and is excited for more experiences to come! She hopes the stories she tells through her writing and plays work to motivate people to be true to themselves while also working to build others up in a positive way. She has a deep appreciation for the arts and hopes to continue to spread her passion to others, working to create a more unified and authentic world.
