Hi everyone! My name is Kyra, and I’m a junior at the University of Illinois majoring in Communication with a minor in Business. I’m originally from Palatine, IL, and I’m so excited to be part of Her Campus this year. Writing, creativity, and connecting with others have always been passions of mine, and I think Her Campus is the perfect space to share my voice while also learning from a strong community of women.
A little bit about me: I have a twin brother who also goes to UIUC with me. I’m also proudly Greek, and my culture plays a big role in my life, from traditions to family values. Outside of school, I’ve always been drawn to fashion, beauty, and nutrition. I love exploring new styles, keeping up with trends, and finding ways to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Going for long walks outside in the morning or sunsets is a new staple in my daily routine.
On campus, I’m active in AMA (American Marketing Association), where I’ve been able to gain hands-on experience in marketing and social media, and OCF (Orthodox Christian Fellowship), which helps me stay connected to my faith. I can’t wait to contribute to Her Campus and connect with everyone!
