Kyra Bredenhof is a Level III Honours student in English and Cultural Studies at McMaster University and is also pursuing a Certificate in Creative Writing and Narrative Arts.
She is passionate about literature, writing, music, and community work, and seeks to pursue these passions in various roles and capacities, whether that be writing a weekly blog on Substack, diving into heavy Russian literature in her free time, or volunteering at a mission church in downtown Hamilton. In the future, she hopes to enter the publishing and editing industry, or share her love for literature with the world by being a high school teacher, all while pursuing writing, her greatest love.
Her dream is that one day, some of her words might change someone’s life, that someone might see themselves reflected in the characters she creates and might never want to leave the pages of her books again.
When she’s not studying or writing, you can find her playing piano, walking her mini golden-doodle, or drinking English Breakfast Tea while reading Lord of the Rings (again).
