My name is Kyla Long, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Forensic Science with a concentration in Chemistry at Savannah State University. I’ve always been fascinated by the connection between science and investigation, and I’m passionate about understanding how chemistry can be used to uncover the truth and solve real-world cases. My coursework has strengthened my attention to detail and critical thinking skills qualities that I know will be essential as I work toward a career in forensic analysis or criminal investigation.
Beyond academics, I’m someone who loves all things social. I enjoy connecting with people, building relationships, and creating spaces where others feel seen and supported. Whether it’s through social media, campus events, or everyday interactions, I value community and creativity. As a proud member of the Her Campus Social Media Committee at Savannah State University , I’m excited to combine my love for communication with my creative side, helping to bring engaging content and positive energy to our chapter.
When I’m not studying or working on campus projects, I love trying and learning new things, building LEGO sets, and taking pictures to capture memories with my friends. I’m a true girls’ girl who values uplifting others and celebrating small wins together. I’m excited to continue growing, learning, and building meaningful connections through both my academic and creative journeys at Savannah State University and beyond.
