Kyla Cortez

A current undergraduate studying English and Book & Media Studies at the University of Toronto. She is also part of U of T's tri-campus newspaper, The Varsity, as a masthead editor and writer. Additionally, she is the Editor-In-Chief for the Book & Media Studies Students' Association undergraduate journal The Foolscap (2023-2024). Lastly, she is a freelance writer for publications such as CBC and more. When not writing articles, she likes travelling, going to festivals, and journalism conferences.
