My name is Kelliece Dixon, and I’m a sophomore at the University of Connecticut, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Sociology. I’ve always loved to read, write, and talk, honestly, anything that lets me express myself and connect with others. I’m naturally a people person and genuinely enjoy meeting new people and learning about their different experiences and perspectives.
At UConn, I’m a proud member of the BSOUL House Learning Community, where I’ve built meaningful friendships and engaged in conversations that challenge and inspire me. I also serve as a UConn tour guide, sharing my love for the university with prospective students and their families. Being able to represent UConn and help others picture themselves here is something I truly value.
Outside of academics and campus involvement, music is a huge part of my life. SZA is my favorite artist, and there’s rarely a day I don't listen to her. I’m also proudly Jamaican, and I love cooking and embracing my culture through food and family traditions. Whether I’m reading a good book, leading a tour, or trying out a new recipe, I bring passion, energy, and authenticity into everything I do.
