I am currently a junior at Bowie State University pursuing a degree in Business Administration. My academic journey has allowed me to strengthen my foundation in business while also exploring my interests in communication, social media, and digital strategy. I have always been drawn to the intersection of creativity and business, and my coursework has given me the opportunity to develop analytical skills, leadership qualities, and a strong understanding of how organizations operate and connect with their communities.
As a member of the Her Campus Social Media Team at Bowie State, I have been able to merge my academic interests with my passion for creativity. In this role, I help contribute to the development of content that engages students, highlights campus culture, and amplifies the voices of women on our campus. Being part of the team has given me valuable experience in digital storytelling, branding, and audience engagement, all of which align closely with my professional goals.
Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a career in branding, human resources, or business analytics, where I can continue using creativity and strategy to connect with people and make an impact.
Outside of academics and campus involvement, I enjoy exploring new ways to express myself creatively, whether it’s through writing, social media content, or brainstorming fresh ideas. I am also passionate about wellness and personal growth, which motivates me to approach every project with balance and purpose. Ultimately, I hope to inspire others by showing that business and creativity can work hand-in-hand to create meaningful change.
