Kate Pflanz is a part of the writing team at the Her Campus at University of Virginia's chapter. She hails from McLean, Virginia, and is a first-year.
Beyond Her Campus, Kate is an editor on the copy desk for the Cavalier Daily, the university's official newspaper. In this position, she is in charge of editing articles on a weekly basis, checking for objective errors. Kate has written for several newspapers in the past, including an article for the Catholic Herald for Arlington. She is currently undecided in her major but plans to apply to the Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy and pursue law later on.
In her free time, Kate enjoys listening to Olivia Rodrigo, reading mystery novels, and writing short stories. She is a Barcelona fan as well as an avid watcher of the Premier League. Kate's plan for future articles include beauty, fashion, and advice.
