Katherine Leddy

Hi! My name is Katherine and I'm in my fourth year at UWaterloo. I study applied mathematics but I'm interested in a wide range of different subjects and specialties – this semester my course load also involves english, philosophy, and legal studies. I try to read as much as I can, I love an Eve Babitz or Joan Didion. I'm currently reading Talk by Linda Rosenkrantz (I made a pact that I would only read woman authors this year) and Conversations on Love by Natasha Lunn. I'm also listening to a lot of country music (this has never happened to me before) so I'm definitely in a ramble-y mood.
I live in Toronto and have two dogs and like to spend all of my free time outdoors but I also have a passion for fashion and like to cuddle on the couch and watch Housewives. I also enjoy baking, I think it's really special to make your friend a cake on their birthday. I'm not a bad cook either but I'm biased to a girl dinner.
You can often find me at a cafe or farmers market, and I hope to live near the ocean when I'm older. I have little experience writing but I'm excited to be here :).
