Hi! I’m Katherine Flores, a third-year Film and Media Studies major at UC Santa Barbara. As a first-generation college student, I’ve always been passionate about storytelling and how film and media can be powerful spaces for representation. I love exploring the ways women’s voices and diverse perspectives show up in media, and I’m constantly inspired by how stories can connect and empower people.
I joined Her Campus because I love writing and creating content that feels genuine and relatable. Fashion, beauty, and film have always been my favorite outlets for self-expression, and I enjoy finding creative ways to merge them all together. Whether it’s through writing, photography, or TikTok videos, I love sharing ideas that celebrate individuality and creativity. Being part of a community that uplifts women’s voices and encourages creativity is something I really value, and I’m excited to contribute to that space.
Outside of Her Campus, you can usually find me taking photos, editing videos, or exploring new fashion and beauty trends. I’m hoping to pursue a career in marketing, digital media, or entertainment, somewhere I can continue telling stories, connecting with others, and blending creativity with purpose.
