Katherine Burgos, originally from Hackensack, NJ, is currently a senior Journalism and Professional Writing major with a minor in Social Media. She started TCNJ in the fall of 2022 and is a first generation Latina college student. Since starting at TCNJ, Burgos has worked with The Signal, the school's official newspaper, and most recently began writing for Her Campus in the fall of 2025.
Her interests in writing include arts and entertainment, as well as features and current events happening on campus. On her free time, Burgos likes to crochet, knit, and spend time with family and friends. One of her friends happens to be her furry friend named Bentley, a five year old goldendoodle, who joined their family during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
When not writing for Her Campus, Burgos can be found in other organizations on campus including Girl Gains, and Sigma Sigma Sigma. Her favorite things to do on campus include scoping out information for new stories, and studying at the library.
