Katelyn is a senior at Grand Canyon University studying Business Administration with an emphasis on Entrepreneurship. This is her first year as a member of the GCU Her Campus chapter. She hopes to rekindle her lifelong passion for writing that had been dampened through college.
Katelyn has worked at a family owned newspaper named the Pine Cone Press-Citizen in Longville, Minnesota since she was 13. With many published works, she hopes to expand her writing experience into more personal, informal stories that resonate with her.
Although her time in Arizona has been great, she is a Minnesota girl through and through. Katelyn enjoys listening to music, working out, creating art, crocheting and deep conversation. After graduation, she plans to move back to Minnesota and continue to use the power of words to cultivate change in her community.
