Hi, I'm Kate! I am a sophomore majoring in Communication and Media at UMich. My favorite parts about living in Ann Arbor so far are all of the fun coffee shops, the variety of study spots (libraries, law quad, etc.), and the all-around school spirit.
I lived in North Carolina for the past 14 years, but I grew up surrounded by Wolverine pride and knew I had to make my way back to A2. In any state, I love thrifting, watching movies, playing piano + guitar, and exploring new cities with my friends!
I have a few years of journalism experience from high school being Deputy Editor-in-Chief of their online newspaper, as well as a summer program between my junior and senior years. I absolutely love to write, and I'm super excited to have more freedom to pick fun topics for Her Campus!
