Hi! My name is Karsyn, I was born and raised in Chicago, and I’m a student at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign majoring in Information Sciences + Data Science with a minor in Business. I’ve always had an interest in exploring how data can help us better understand audiences and tell stories that really resonate.
I wanted to join Her Campus because it felt like the perfect space to combine my love for creativity with my passion for uplifting women’s voices. I’m excited to share content that’s relatable and fun. I also see Her Campus as an amazing opportunity to sharpen my digital communication skills and collaborate with other women who inspire me.
Outside of class, you can usually find me hanging out with my friends, doom scrolling on TikTok, or planning and hosting events for my clubs. I really value authenticity, creativity, and connection, and I try to bring those qualities into everything I do. In the future, I hope to merge my technical background with media and storytelling in a career that lets me be both analytical and creative.
