Karla Estrada is a student at Texas State University with academic interests in business, marketing, and sports-related industries. Originally from Dallas, Texas, she brings a strong work ethic and creative mindset to both her academic and extracurricular pursuits. Throughout her time at Texas State, she has focused on developing communication, leadership, and organizational skills through coursework and hands-on involvement across campus.
Karla is actively involved in Diamond Sweethearts, an organization dedicated to supporting Texas State athletics and fostering community engagement. Through this role, she has gained experience in event coordination, volunteer service, and teamwork. She has also worked with the Texas State athletic marketing department, assisting with game-day promotions, fan engagement initiatives, and large-scale athletic events. These opportunities have strengthened her interest in sports marketing, brand engagement, and experiential marketing.
Outside of her academic and professional involvement, Karla enjoys content creation, social media strategy, music, and photography. She is passionate about branding, storytelling, and building meaningful connections through digital platforms.
