Kalia Oaddams

Kalia Oaddams is a junior at Howard University majoring in Health Sciences, where she is passionate about understanding the human body, promoting wellness, and preparing for a career dedicated to improving health outcomes in diverse communities. Committed to making a difference beyond the classroom, she is actively involved in leadership and campus life. Kalia currently serves on the Events Team for the 2025–2026 school year of Her Campus, where she contributes to planning and executing engaging programs that foster connection and empowerment among women on campus. She also holds a leadership position as the Publicity Chair for the National Society of Leadership and Success, using her creativity and communication skills to amplify the organization’s mission and inspire her peers to grow as leaders.

Driven, ambitious, and community-focused, Kalia hopes to use her education to make a lasting impact in the healthcare field. Her experiences in leadership, event planning, and outreach have helped her develop strong organizational and interpersonal skills, which she plans to bring into her future professional endeavors. She is passionate about creating inclusive spaces and supporting initiatives that promotes leadership, and empowerment values that she continues to uphold through her campus involvement.

Outside of her academic and professional commitments, Kalia enjoys expressing herself through creative and reflective outlets. She loves watching old-school movies, baking new recipes, and spending quality time with friends. She often unwinds by going to the mall, staying active at the gym, or journaling.
