Hey, I'm Kaitlyn! I'm a junior at Rutgers University studying Public History; In 2024, I graduated from Brookdale Community College with an A.A. in History and a certificate in Women's and Gender Studies. While attending Brookdale, I served as secretary of Women in Learning and Leadership as well as President and Founder of the History and Political Science club. I've earned a few awards and honors including the Global Citizen Project Award ("Silent Education: Your Crash Course on Campus Sexual Violence Awareness and Prevention” zine publication) and first prize at The New Jersey Women’s and Gender Studies Consortium’s 20th Annual Undergraduate Research Colloquium (“‘Our Bodies, Ourselves’: Women’s Health Panel and Initiative.") I love learning and teachings others about women's issues and history, watching trashy reality tv shows, and listening to my favorite albums on CD, too!
