Kaisha is a student at the University of Toronto Mississauga studying Politics, Sociology, and Ethics, Law & Society. She loves writing about the things that make university life interesting, complicated, and occasionally chaotic, from relationships and friendships to fashion, beauty, pop culture, politics, and figuring out what you actually want from your twenties.
She is especially interested in bringing forward conversations surrounding women in law and politics, social issues, ambition, identity, and the pressure that can come with trying to balance school, work, relationships, and everything else at once. Whether she is discussing a larger social issue or something as simple as navigating friendships in university, Kaisha loves exploring the experiences that shape young women and the conversations we may not always say out loud.
Outside of writing and academics, Kaisha has a soft spot for Marvel, anything created by Shonda Rhimes, old TV shows, and getting lost in a good book. She also loves anything creative and artistic, especially making jewellery, painting, sewing, and finding new projects to try.
