I am a first-year finance major at Howard University, where I’m developing a strong background in accounting, economics, and business analysis. My coursework emphasizes critical thinking, quantitative reasoning, and clear communication skills that I apply to both group projects and campus activities. I enjoy the challenge of interpreting financial data and understanding how it influences real decisions in organizations.
My academic experiences so far have strengthened my ability to stay organized and adapt to different learning environments. Participating in class discussions, collaborating on research assignments, and managing multiple deadlines have helped me become both detail-oriented and flexible. I value opportunities to work with classmates who bring different perspectives and approaches, because it keeps my thinking fresh and well-rounded.
Outside of school, I make time for hobbies that keep me balanced and creative. I like exploring new coffee shops, reading, and trying out simple baking recipes when I have a free afternoon. Photography is another interest, especially capturing cityscapes and small everyday moments. These activities give me space to recharge and often create new ideas that I bring back to my academic work and daily life.
