I’m a junior at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette where I’m working towards my BA in communications specializing in journalism. My interests—or my obsessions, as I like to call them—include writing, fashion styling, photography, and spending endless hours on Polyvore and Pinterest. I have an endless amount of novel ideas floating through my head which I hope to have on paper one day. I often daydream of my novel ending up on the big screen. I admit I already have certain celebrities in mind to star in it. I’m the kind of person who obsesses and makes countless plans over where I would like my life to be like within the next five to ten years. I always try to have a plan B, C, D and go all the way down the alphabet. A few years after my college graduation, I hope to move to the Mid-Atlantic region, preferably Pennsylvania or Washington D.C. There, I expect to start working on my Master’s. While in school, I hope to find work at a publishing house or small independent magazine as a writer and/or photographer. My dream job would be working at Seventeen or Glamour Magazine where I know I can use my interests and skills effectively.
