Jennifer Hensey

Jennifer Hensey is an English with Film undergraduate at King’s College London and the Culture Editor for Her Campus KCL. She is an aspiring culture and lifestyle journalist with published work in Roar News, Strand Magazine, and The Tab KCL. Her writing spans features, reviews, and comment pieces that explore culture, identity, and youth lifestyle, often blending thoughtful commentary with a creative and relatable tone.

Beyond Her Campus, Jennifer contributes to Write On! Magazine as a Magazine Producer, where she collaborates with fellow editors to shape print and digital issues. She was also shortlisted for The Guardian’s Positive Action Scheme, where she gained valuable insight into editorial decision-making and pitching within national media. Passionate about all things culture, she hopes to pursue a career in magazine journalism, bringing fresh, engaging ideas to every publication she’s part of.

Outside of writing, Jennifer is an avid reader who loves fictional romances and thrillers, as well as a music lover with a soft spot for Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Lana Del Rey and all things 1980s. When she’s not working on an article, she can usually be found at a London theatre show, discovering new cultural spots around the city, or reminiscing over her favourite nostalgic pop culture moments.
