Jelayra Taylor is a student contributor with Her Campus, where she serves as a member of the Social Media and Content Team. Through Her Campus, she helps create and support content that highlights college life, creativity, and topics that matter to young women. She enjoys producing engaging, relatable content that reflects authentic student experiences.She is currently an undergraduate student at Baylor University, majoring in interior design. Her academic background has helped her develop strong writing, research, and communication skills, particularly in areas related to culture, design, and community. Her involvement on campus has allowed her to grow as both a collaborator and a creative thinker. Outside of academics, I enjoy music, creative expression, and staying active in campus organizations. I am passionate about storytelling and using media as a way to connect with others. My personal experiences as a college student strongly influence the topics I cover, making my work feel honest and approachable.
