Hi! I’m Jazmyn, a junior at Barnard College majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior. My long-term goal is to become a Physician Assistant. I’ve always been curious about the brain and the ways our bodies and minds work together after my mother had a stroke, which is why I’m so interested in my major.
I'm involved across student life on campus, which has been one of my favorite parts of college so far. I’ve served as a mentor for the Black Student Orientation Program, am working on the board of the Caribbean Student Association, and performed in sketch comedy skits with Latenite Theatre. Through these experiences, I’ve met so many friends across different fields and interests and explored my own creativity in fun new ways!
In my free time, I enjoy working out, partying with friends, and exploring all that New York City has to offer outside my campus. I also love traveling, and I’ve taken solo trips across the US, Britain, and Liberia, West Africa!
