Hi! I’m Janelle Murakami, a senior at Virginia Tech, double majoring in Management Consulting & Analytics and Financial Accounting at the Pamplin College of Business. I’ve always loved problem-solving and finding creative ways to make things run smoother, which is what first drew me to consulting. Through my coursework and hands-on projects, I’ve gotten to explore lots and I love seeing how small changes can make a big impact.
On campus, I’m involved in Delta Gamma, where I’ve grown as a leader through philanthropy and sisterhood. Our chapter’s work with Service for Sight means a lot to me, and being part of DG has taught me so much about teamwork, communication, and showing up for others.
Outside of school and work, I’m passionate about health, wellness, and self-improvement. You’ll usually find me at the gym, exploring new coffee shops, shopping, or spending time with friends and family. I love balancing productivity with creativity and I’m all about continuously learning, growing, and becoming the best version of myself.
