Hi! My name is Jaedyn Ayangbile, and I’m a freshman at the University of Alabama. I’m currently exploring my academic interests in biology and psychology while working toward my long-term goal of becoming an anesthesiologist. As I begin this new chapter of my life, I’m excited to challenge myself academically, discover new opportunities, and learn more about the person I want to become. Being a college student has already taught me so much about independence, building meaningful relationships, and navigating the exciting, sometimes overwhelming experience of growing up. I’m looking forward to making the most of my college experience both inside and outside the classroom.
Outside of academics, I’m passionate about content creation, beauty, fashion, lifestyle, and finding joy in everyday experiences. I create content under the name Life with Jaedyn, where I share relatable moments from my life, college experiences, routines, and my journey toward becoming the best version of myself. Through creating content, I’ve developed an interest in storytelling, digital media, and connecting with other young women who are navigating similar stages of life. I also enjoy experimenting with new hairstyles, discovering beauty and fashion trends, spending time with friends, and finding fun ways to make ordinary days feel a little more exciting. My faith is also an important part of who I am, and I enjoy finding ways to grow spiritually while balancing the different aspects of my life.
I’m especially excited about joining Her Campus because I love the idea of being part of a community that celebrates women, creativity, and personal growth. As someone who enjoys expressing herself through writing and content creation, I’m eager to explore new ways to share my perspective, develop my voice, and connect with other college women. I hope to contribute stories and ideas that are entertaining, relatable, and meaningful to readers who may be experiencing similar milestones, challenges, and exciting moments. Whether I’m sharing college advice, discussing lifestyle and beauty topics, or simply reflecting on the little things that make life special, I want my work to feel authentic and welcoming. I’m excited to see where this opportunity takes me and to continue growing as a student, creator, writer, and young woman.
