My name is Jada Haynes, and I am a second-year student at the University of Florida studying Elementary Education. I am originally from North Port, Florida, and I have always had a passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives. My experiences with children have helped me realize how important it is for every child to feel welcomed, supported, and included. In the future, I hope to continue working with children and eventually create an environment where children of all abilities are able to learn, grow, and feel accepted.
Throughout my education, I have had several opportunities to gain experience working with children. I have spent time volunteering in an elementary school classroom, where I was able to work directly with young students and learn more about the classroom environment. I have also worked at a tennis camp with children of different ages, which taught me how to communicate, stay patient, and handle responsibility. These experiences have strengthened my interest in education and have helped prepare me for my future career as an educator.
Outside of school, I enjoy staying active, traveling, going to the beach, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with my friends and family. I also enjoy playing tennis and working out in my free time. Being at the University of Florida has given me opportunities to grow both academically and personally. As I continue my education, I hope to gain even more experience working with children and learning how to create an inclusive classroom. My long-term goal is to use my education and experiences to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
