Smokin' Aces was so good! This is a must-see for every movie buff.
This is a "mobster" movie. Guns, drugs, killing, etc. You know the spill. But, the story line is not like the usual mobster movie. The creativity is priceless and refreshing for a storyline that has been done over and over again. I watched that movie at 123Movies new 2020 site https://www.123movies.haus/ with tonns of old and brand new Netflix movies.

Smokin' Aces is a story about a set of contract killers vying for the same job to bring down one of the mobs most powerful men. The bounty: $1 million dollars and the proof of the kill, the dead man's heart. Ok. You would think that this would deter our killers; cutting out a dead man's heart! The movie plunders on to address the different killing methods and tactics of the different players of the game. There is a hint of humor, a dash of seriousness and a pinch of action. Did I already say I loved this movie?

The movie ended with a plot twist that I haven't seen before. So, if you enjoy a movie with an unexpected ending, you will have it. To me the judgment if a movie is good or not comes to the many hours I talked about the movie when it was over. For this movie, I talked about it the entire night after I watched it and the following day. That is an A+ in my book.

What deemed outstanding for me in this movie was the roles that Common and Alicia Keys played. They were great "bad guys." I really felt their screen presence and they are both first-timers. It's not always easy to cross over from one entertainment genre to a totally different artistic craft. Their characters were so real, I believed every moment of it.

Just because this movie had some newbies, don't think the A-list was not invited. The main character, Jeremy Piven, played his part impeccably. Than you had Ben Affleck, Ryan Reynolds (whom I loved in the New Amityville Horror) and Ray Liotta, plus many, many more.

The direction blew me away and the plot was so interesting. There were no dull or boring moments in the entire movie. The director did a good job of giving you just enough than moving on to the next scene just to grab you again. Please see this movie!
