Isra Rashid is in her first year at the University of Toronto. She plans on graduating with a major in English and wants to write books for a living. A child of proud Ethiopian immigrants, she grew up in the heart of downtown Toronto and loves spending her time rewatching her favourite TV shows, creating highly specific Spotify playlists, and being a staunch defender of misunderstood (re: hated) fictional female characters.
