Hi! I’m Isis, a senior biology major at Bowie State University. Over the past few years, I’ve discovered just how much I love science and healthcare, whether it’s spending hours in the lab or connecting what I’ve learned to the bigger picture of healthcare and research. As graduation gets closer, I’m excited to see where my degree takes me and how I can combine my love for science with my passion for helping others.
When I’m not studying or working on assignments, I make sure to carve out time for myself. I really value self-care, whether that’s having a quiet journaling session, doing a skincare routine, or enjoying a spa day to recharge. I also love doing my makeup and trying out new products. Coffee runs, cozy Netflix nights, buying new candles and catching up with family and friends are some of my favorite ways to relax and reset.
I joined Her Campus because I love being part of a community where women can share their experiences, passions, and advice. I’m excited to write, connect, and hopefully inspire other likeminded students who are figuring things out just like I am.
