Hello!
My names Isabelle, or Isa, and I'm a second year student at CSUSB majoring in English Linguistics! I'm beyond excited to join Her Campus this year to continue my goals of learning more about myself, building connections, and being more active!
My goal with my education is to become a Speech Language Pathologist and to primarily work with children in a school system. As someone whose first language isn't English, I was always so curious on how we communicate, learn languages, and form sentences. But this curiosity grew in my senior year of high school during a trip to the Paten State Hospital where I learned more about SLP.
Beyond campus life, I'm a commuting student who works with my family and is a volleyball coach for my middle school. I love teaching volleyball because I used to play for almost seven years and it's been a passion of mine before I discovered writing! I pursued writing through scripts for projects because I am a voice actor.
Outside of school and work life, I enjoy playing video games, watching anime, singing, writing short stories, going to Disneyland, and spending time with my partner and friends! I'm excited to continue writing and building these connections during my time here at CSUSB.
