Imani Agbionu

Imani Agbionu is a Philip Merrill College of Journalism graduate student at the University of Maryland. Her concentration is broadcast journalism, and her career path is to be a visual/audio journalist in the entertainment industry. With a degree in Marketing from George Mason University and an associate in Business Administration from Northern Virginia Community College, Agbionu's education has been a rainbow of experiences. Her favorite self-quote is, "You can never learn too much," which pushes her for greatness.

When she is not at work on the UMD campus, she enjoys writing for her blog "Catching Up With Mani" or reading on her Kindle. Her favorite authors are Kennedey Ryan, Tiffany D. Jackson, and Sara Cate! Before the end of the year, she will have more to add to the list. Also, streaming platforms are her best friend; she binge-watches the latest show or recently released movie. To break it down, she is an introvert!

But, she is always open to conversation and is a talker, so she loves to write and talk to people with different opinions and beliefs, as long as it is respectful.
