Heather Chen is a first-year student here at UVA. She makes a strong stance on female empowerment and bringing out the best in girls and women, which is evident in many of the girls' organizations she's joined, one in particular being a coach for Girls on the Run in NOVA. Having this kind of stance is exactly what drew her to join Her Campus UVA.
Heather is part of the writing team here at Her Campus UVA. She focuses on articles about fashion trends, pop culture, as well as tapping into one's feminine energy. In her free time, Heather enjoys doing liberty and dressage with her horses, spending time with her cats, going to the gym, and hanging out with friends.
