Harshita Sawhney is the Editorial Director, as well as a member of the Board of Directors, at the Her Campus at MUJ chapter. She oversees the chapter's written content and editorial direction, shaping how contributors' ideas move from pitch to published piece, while trying to keep the section feeling sharp, current, and true to the writers behind it.
She is currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering at Manipal University Jaipur, splitting her time between fullstack development and the kind of design work that treats a website less like a tool and more like a mood. She's written articles before stepping into this role, and that instinct for story and structure now shows up as much in her code as it does in her editing.
Outside of Her Campus, she's an avid reader; Babel by R.F. Kuang is a personal favorite; and an even more devoted consumer of shows, movies, and basically any piece of media she can get her hands on, watching and reading at a pace that borders on unhinged. She's also drawn to the Y2K aesthetic in ways that go beyond nostalgia; chunky UI elements, glitter gradients, early-internet chaos, and channels it directly into her personal coding projects, building digital spaces that feel like a memory you didn't know you had.
