Hailey is a third-year student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo majoring in Graphic Communication with a concentration in Design Reproduction Technology. She grew up in Pleasant Hill, located in the Bay Area. After touring Cal Poly during her junior year of high school, she fell in love with San Luis Obispo and Cal Poly’s “learn by doing” motto. From then on, she worked hard to get into the school, taking extra classes and APs. She was in a yearbook and graphic design class senior year of high school which solidified her decision to apply for Graphic Communication at Cal Poly.
This is her first year being a member of Her Campus, and she hopes to help manage social media platforms and design graphics. She has always been a very creative person and after taking years of art classes and camps she decided to pursue a career in design. Last year, she even took a social media class where she curated posts for Cal Poly Graphic Communication’s LinkedIn profile where she learned a lot about analytics and creating content for the target audience. She is passionate about all things art including painting, scrapbooking, crafting, and bullet journaling. During her free time, you can typically find her reading a book or taking a yoga class.
