Ever since my senior school years, I have been fascinated by how economic ideas explain real-world behaviour. Scoring 99/100 in Economics in both Class 11 & 12 strengthened my love for the subject and inspired me to study it further. I am now a first-year student at Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Economics. At university, I am eager to deepen my knowledge of microeconomics, public policy and data interpretation to build a strong analytical foundation for a future career in research.
Alongside academics, I have actively nurtured my interest in public speaking and leadership. I anchored several school events, experiences that improved my stage presence and confidence, and served as Vice Head Girl, where I learned to manage responsibilities, coordinate teams and lead with empathy. I also enjoy creative digital work such as designing invitations, preparing event-support presentations and developing visual content, which lets me combine creativity with organisation and teamwork.
In my free time, I love baking and experimenting with new recipes. I also enjoy watching series and movies to relax and stay inspired. These hobbies give me a sense of balance and allow me to explore my creativity while pursuing my academic and extracurricular interests.
