Gianna Figueroa is currently an Assistant Editor for FIU's Her Campus Chapter. As a first-generation student at FIU, she is studying Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication. Passionate about storytelling, she works with a team of writers to help strengthen their stories through meaningful edits while encouraging them to develop their own unique voices.
Beyond Her Campus, Gianna is involved with FIU PRSSA as the Managing Director of the WCA PR Firm, where she is gaining hands-on experience in public relations and exploring the many paths the field has to offer. In her free-time, she enjoys reading, writing, and creating art, which serve as her creative outlets and forms of self-expression.
As she navigates her first year at FIU, she hopes to continue discovering new interests, building real-world experience, and connecting with others through campus involvement and future internships.
