Gabrielle is a fourth-year student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo majoring in Political Science with a concentration in political communication. She is interested in the intersection of media and public discourse, and her academic work explores the ways rhetoric, popular culture, and journalism shape political narratives. Through her studies, she has developed strong skills in research, critical thinking, and writing, focusing on how communication impacts society at both the individual and institutional levels.
Throughout her college career, Gabrielle has engaged in writing-intensive projects that examine cultural movements, media representation, and political events. She is dedicated to understanding how storytelling — whether through music, digital platforms, or new media — can amplify voices and empower individuals. Professionally, she hopes to pursue a career in media, communications, public affairs, or a combination of all three, where she can contribute thoughtful and impactful dialogue to rapidly evolving media spaces.
Outside of academics, Gabrielle enjoys exploring music, spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, staying up to date on pop culture, and engaging in conversations about navigating young adulthood.
