I would like to introduce myself by saying my name is Gabbie Juarez. I currently attend the University of Illinois Urbana – Champaign. My major consists of Political Science in hopes to follow a Pre-Law track. Throughout my life, I have always been interested in the idea of becoming a lawyer. As a lawyer, I will be able to provide help and knowledge to those undergoing struggles and assistance from a legal aspect. Learning about politics across the world aids in my understanding of how the world works in different societies.
Currently, I am a member of the Pre-Law Honors Society, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society along with an affiliation in Her Campus. Being involved in each of these communities has allowed me to build new connections with individuals who have the same interest as myself. Furthermore, I have worked at a local restaurant in my hometown for three years. Working at this restaurant has allowed me to obtain professional mannerism, provide customer satisfaction, and master time management.
I find myself interested in helping and giving back to the community. I enjoy being able to spend time with those whom I love and care about, such as, friends and family. Being around my friends and family is an important aspect in my life as it makes me the happiest to enjoy their company. Additionally, I have an interest in going to the gym and focusing on a healthy lifestyle.
