Hi! My name is Faith Sweazy, I'm 22 years old, and I'm currently a senior student at Old Dominion University with an intended graduation date of May 2026. I'm a journalism major with minors in digital marketing and entrepreneurship, as well as certificates in leadership and teaching English as a second language (TESL). I hold a passion for photography, writing, volunteering, and animals, and I'm excited to use my membership within Her Campus to support these areas of my life.
I've been practicing photography since 2018, and have been able to develop my skills within pet, portrait, and wildlife photography styles. I've also been working with local nonprofit animal shelters since 2018 as both a foster parent and an operations volunteer. Lastly, I'm currently the Vice President of Programs for the Theta Phi chapter of the Delta Zeta sorority.
My post-graduation goals include spending time as a travel volunteer and using my volunteer experience, as well as my education in digital marketing and journalism, to support pet and wildlife-based nonprofit organizations. Afterwards, I hope to open my own creative agency where I'll aid nonprofit organizations and small businesses in their marketing efforts.
