My name is Evie and I'm a freshman at Mount Holyoke College. I was born in Lawrence, Kansas and graduated from Free State High School, where I started my writing and journalism career. During my time there, I acted as the Editor-in-Chief, writing dozens of stories and designing dozens of spreads as well as editing hundreds of stories and photos. My favorite things to write about were things that were controversial within the school or topics I felt like went unacknowledged despite their significance. While journalistic writing is my favorite kind of writing, I also liked to spend my time writing plays or just generally helping out the theater department, which I plan to do at Mount Holyoke as well!
